Clubs

Every student in 1st through 8th grade is encouraged to try out for the Thomas Law Reed Oral Interpretation program.  Students selected to represent Thomas Law Reed in oral interpretation present their memorized poem to the school and compete at the KCUSD Oral Interpretation Festival.

Students in the 3^rd-8^th grades are encouraged to learn to play chess.  Approximately 50 students participate and compete in chess tournaments throughout the year.
